Challenge

ATX Studios is a 90,000sqft. film and entertainment studio located near downtown Austin. Pristine lighting conditions is a must-have for a TV and film production studio. ATX Studio's had acquired an old manufacturing facility and warehouse equipped with old 4ooW HPS high bay lighting. The dreary yellow lighting that HPS produced was not sufficient for the studio.

Solution

Facility Solutions Group suggested replacing the old lighting with new LED high bay fixtures. Due to unique lighting requirements, FSG specified a war, 300K color temperature in the new LED lights. The total fixture count was almost cut in half while simultaneously achieving better lighting results.

Result

The 69 LED high bay fixtures FSG was able to install helped ATX Studios achieve overall better lighting while also reducing its energy expenditure by 42.17 watts. This resulted in $23,792 of annual utility savings tor ATX Studios.
