Challenge

In response to a growing trend in recent years, Bank of America recently engaged in a series of modular data center construction projects. For Bank of America, the modular data center allows it to customize power, cooling, and network connectivity configurations. Additionally, modules provide much greater security over traditional data center cages, which many companies now find insufficient for meeting mandated data protection and physical security policies. In Richardson, Texas, Bank of America engaged Holder Construction to manage the construction of a modular data center to support its area branches. Holder Construction turned to FSG's Dallas branch for the type of expertise required to execute the electrical work scope of this construction project.
