Baylor Louise Harrington College of Nursing Dallas, Texas
FSG was called upon to provide audio/visual design assist and installation services throughout the building
ChallengeThe Louise Harrington College of Nursing at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, located near downtown Dallas, Texas, undertook a massive expansion by occupying and renovating the former Baptist Building in Dallas. This $18 million project would triple the size of the college. FSG was called upon to provide audio/visual design assist and installation services throughout the building.
SolutionThe scope of this project was truly comprehensive. Areas slated for design and installation included an auditorium, multiple classrooms, conference rooms, a chapel, the Success Center, public displays, and more. Panasonic projectors were installed in the auditorium and classrooms, along with Da-Lite Contour screens, some of which had to be custom built for this project. Multimedia controls were provided through Modero touchscreen devices, and multiple computer inputs were installed to allow faculty and presenters to connect to the display system. For the Success Center and public displays, Samsung screens were utilized along with multimedia players and wall-mounted AMX push button controls. JBL speakers were installed in the ceilings throughout the various classrooms and conference rooms, as well as the auditorium.
