New 7 story building that will serve as the home of Emblem Health's main New York Patient care facility
Challenge
This project was located smack dab in the center of Brooklyn with little to no highway access to the site. The project also had an aggressive schedule and logistics of material across several phases of the project were mission critical to meeting the schedule and project demands.Solution
FSG partnered with vendors who would help organize with FSG to reduce the movements of Material. FSG set up a supply counter on site where product was supplied by our vendor partner on consignment and scanned in and out of the supply room in real time. This technology allowed us to track material movements in and out of the job, control costs and produce real time billing between FSG and the vendor(s). This also allowed FSG to load the job with material ahead of time. Cauldwell Wingate (The CM) assisted and support FSG in our effort to create this space on site and all were beneficiaries of this system.FSG projects consistently deliver excellence for our customers, for our employees, and for the communities we serve.
