For this project, FSG replaced 400 watt metal halide fixtures with more efficient high bay LED fixtures.
Challenge
Dillard's Distribution Centers are the heart of Dillard's retail store operations. Accurate product picking and shipping is critical to efficient store operation. Dillard's depends on good lighting in its DCs as a part of its overall quality strategy. While the Metal Halide lighting was doing an ok job, the rising cost of energy and the constant maintenance these lamps required was taking its toll. Dillard's needed to replace the metal halide lighting with lighting that was more efficient without losing any light.Solution
FSG brought several LED lamp options to Dillard's before the right high bay LED fixture was found. Once chosen, FSG went to work installing the new LED lighting in the challenging distribution center environment in a very short amount of time. The end results were lower energy consumption and higher light levels on the distribution center working floor. The customer was satisfied with the results.More Information
