When Emblem Health constructed their new 200,000 sq. ft. medical center in the heart of Brooklyn, they needed contractors and subcontractors that could deliver the project. FSG was up to the task.

Challenge

When it comes to the construction of the electrical systems of a large healthcare facility, great care has to be taken to make sure everything is done precisely and carefully. After all, people's lives will be depending on it! Add to that the need to perform the job efficiently, both keeping the job on-time and on-budget and the unique challenges of building a world class medical facility quickly become obvious.

Solution

In the healthcare vertical, FSG has built or renovated hundreds of facilities over its 35 year history. For this project, FSG tapped into its vast experience to develop, implement, and deliver a world class project for a first class customer. From design to final punch list, FSG owned every part of the electrical construction on this project and even brought in FSG's lighting design team to develop the lighting design for the facility- a service that very few electrical contractors can offer. Additionally, FSG was able to offer deliver low voltage services including structured cabling, fire alarm, and teledata infrastructure for the facility's various communications systems.

Result

In the end, FSG delivered a turn-key project that allowed the general contractor and customer to not only have an electrical contractor on-site, but a true electrical partner- dedicated to solving a number of challenges associated with bringing this beautiful facility to life!
