The 315,000 square foot research facility (South Campus Research Building 3), was established at MD Anderson in April 2007 and is part of the Red and Charline McCombs Institute for the Early Detection and Treatment of Cancer on MD Anderson's South Campus. The mission of the center is to develop a leading multi-disciplinary research center with innovative programs in basic, translational and clinical research in advanced biomedical imaging of cancer and related diseases, and to serve MD Anderson in making cancer history. FSG completed 5-levels, 125,000 square feet of research and bio-medical laboratories at this research facility.
