Motorola turned to FSG for electrical construction services during the finish-out phase of construction on new offices in Austin, Texas. This would be a truly multi-disciplined undertaking, which is one of FSG's specialties.

Solution

This project covered a 70,000 square foot, multi-floor, high-end tenant finish out for Motorola's research and development department. The project included improvements to the existing electrical distribution system, including new UPS and generator backup systems, as well as conditioned power for electronic laboratories. The project also included systems for energy management, fire alarms, A/V, data, video conferencing, modular furniture installation, cable tray, isolation grounding system, high end lighting, and dimming systems.
