FSG Provides Electrical Construction Services for New Downtown Houston Parking Garage Facility

Challenge

When project owner One Market Square Phase 1, LLC began work on a new 10-story parking garage in downtown Houston, the focus was on the future and on providing parking for downtown visitors and tenants of a planned high-rise tower to be built adjacent to the new parking structure. As with any major construction project in a busy downtown business district, the parking garage project would face logistical and spatial challenges, with limited lay-down areas and a need for expert project management from all the trades. For the electrical construction work scope on this project, general contractor Linbeck Group chose FSG's Houston branch to get the job done.

Solution

FSG completed the project on schedule for Linbeck. On-site project management worked hard to coordinate the delivery of needed supplies to a job site with limited access, maintaining the flow of work while managing the provision of materials required to keep the work on schedule. In the end, the parking structure was completed to the customer's satisfaction and opened for service, and it instantly became a preferred parking destination in downtown Houston.
