Based on recommendations from FSG, Radio City Music Hall chose to pursue a complete lighting retrofit.

Challenge

Radio City Music Hall, one of the most iconic venues in America, must always shine brightly, and for that it depends heavily on its lighting. At the same time, however, saving energy costs is as important for them as it is for so many other businesses in the country. To achieve the best in lighting quality, and the best in utility savings, Radio City Music Hall turned to Facility Solutions Group.

Solution

Based on recommendations from FSG, Radio City Music Hall chose to pursue a complete lighting retrofit. Performed under an incentive program operated by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, the retrofit scope covered the removal of all T12 fixtures and their associated magnetic ballasts. New T8 lamps were installed in their place, along with electronic ballast units. Thanks to FSG?s extensive knowledge of rebate and incentive programs, Radio City Music Hall qualified for a $23,000 incentive to undertake this program.
