FSG Delivers Lower OPEX Costs and Superior Experience for Players with Tennis Court Lighting Retrofit

Challenge

Arcis Golf is a premier operator of nearly 70 private, resort, and public golf and tennis clubs in the United States. At Arcis Golf's River Place Tennis Club in Austin, the facility owner wanted to reduce energy consumption on three of the club's tennis courts while also upgrading the quality of light to deliver a better experience for players. Currently, there were a number of "dead spots" with poor lighting on the courts, as well as spots where the light was blinding. To complete the lighting upgrade project, Arcis Golf turned to FSG's Austin branch.

Solution

FSG replaced 18 fixtures on the three courts with new LED LSI Courtblade fixtures. The new LED fixtures provide a uniform throw of light while putting 50-55 foot candles of illumination on the court's surface.

Result

FSG quickly completed the LED lighting retrofit project for Arcis Golf to the customer's satisfaction. Throughout the project, all design, procurement, and installation were handled by FSG, and the work was scheduled to impart a minimum impact on normal operations at the tennis facility.
