Case Study
FSG provided full service electrical construction for this project

Challenge

This project involved the addition of over 2 miles of bus duct to the existing copper fab (FAB1) facility. as well as a brand new 2-story 20,000 square foot building to house all the distribution equipment required to supply power to this equipment. The Samsung facility was in operation during the entire project requiring FSG's expertise and innovation to navigate the complexity of installing this equipment around live sprinkler lines, gas lines, and other electrical systems. Congestion in the ceiling presented challenges

Solution

Due to the congestion in the ceiling space, FSG had to "design-build" this project on the fly using our trademark expertise and innovation. FAB1 was in operation during the entirety of the installation, requiring our team to work around live sprinkler lines, gas lines, and other electrical systems. Over two miles of 4000-amp busduct were installed both in FAB1 and the new distribution building. By working seven days a week for four months, FSG completed this project in just over 160,000 man-hours. Our on-site team peaked at over 250 electricians. In the end, the project was completed one month ahead of the original schedule.

FSG projects consistently deliver excellence for our  customers, for our employees, and for the communities we serve.

We see each project as an opportunity to embrace our mission and provide superior value through quality products, service, and support.
