FSG performed electrical construction for the remodel of the Dallas branch of the United States Postal Service.

Challenge

For the remodel of their downtown Dallas branch, the United States Postal Service turned to FSG for electrical construction services.

Solution

This historical remodel restored the branch to its 1930?s beauty, and included new electrical service, new lighting, and an HVAC upgrade. The lobby light fixtures required new globes and repair and replacement of missing parts. The fixtures were intricately engraved brass with hand-etched glass globes. FSG found a manufacturer to provide a brass foundry for the new parts, and located both a provider for molding and producing the glass globes, and for computer modeling and recreating the hand-etching.
