FSG Delivers Flexible, Professional Electrical Construction Services for WeWork in Los Angeles

Challenge

With over 800 locations worldwide, WeWork understands Tenant Improvement (TI) projects and how to execute them. When the company decided to expand its operation to include four new Los Angeles-area locations, WeWork knew the strength of the outcome would only be as strong as the strength of the partnership it formed with local contractors who would execute each project. For the electrical work scope associated with finishing out each of its new LA-area locations, WeWork turned to FSG’s Los Angeles branch.

Solution

FSG’s project management team made the difference on each tenant build-out job for WeWork. The hallmark of FSG’s service on these projects was flexibility, and the ability to work with four different electrical designs and four completely different project environments.

For these particular projects, the work schedule proved to be the most difficult challenge, as each location was in close proximity to other working office environments. As such, the FSG team deployed daily from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. to address “heavy” work such as the installation of overhead racks and switch rooms, shifting after four hours to other tasks that had less of a noise impact on neighboring office suites.

Result

FSG flawlessly executed the electrical work scope for each of the four WeWork TI projects. In Long Beach, El Segundo, and at two Los Angeles locations, FSG worked with the WeWork design team to realize a unique vision for each space, providing lighting and electrical infrastructure to support the customer’s business goals.

All four projects were completed on schedule and to the satisfaction of the project owner.
