FSG Provides Electrical Work Scope for Parking Garage to Serve Woman's Hospital Expansion

Challenge

As part of a planned expansion of the HCA Houston Healthcare Woman’s Hospital of Texas campus in the Texas Medical Center, a new parking garage was required for the site. After a project delay in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the project began in earnest in 2021. DPR Construction served as the general contractor for the parking garage construction project, and to complete the electrical work scope, DPR reached out to FSG's Houston branch.

Solution

FSG has executed the project on schedule for DPR, and the new garage facility is on track for a fall 2021 grand opening. On-site project management worked hard to coordinate all change orders with the GC and maintain the flow of work at the site while managing the provision of materials required to keep the project on schedule.

For this project, the goal for FSG was to deliver excellent service for this important project in the heart of Houston's world-famous Texas Medical Center. The new parking structure for the Woman's Hospital of Texas campus will provide reliable service for many years to come and will serve as a testament to the quality of the construction team members who created it.
