Vendor Security

Official Purchase Order & Communication Policy

All official purchase orders (POs), contracts, and financial correspondence from
Facility Solutions Group (FSG) will be sent from our official corporate email domains:

@fsg.com  or  @fsgi.com

Fraud Alert: Unauthorized Email Domains

Any request that appears to be from FSG but is sent from a non-corporate email domain should be treated as suspicious.
FSG will never initiate purchasing, banking, or payment instructions from addresses such as:

  • ✗ @gmail.com
  • ✗ @hotmail.com
  • ✗ @yahoo.com
  • ✗ Any other free or non-corporate email domain

Vendor Verification Protocol

If you receive a purchase order, contract, or payment request that does not originate from an
@fsg.com or @fsgi.com email address, or if anything about the request seems unusual, please:

  1. Do not ship goods, release product, or process payment based solely on the suspicious request.
  2. Verify the request using a known, trusted FSG contact or a phone number listed on our official website.
  3. Confirm the purchase order number and request details with your established FSG point of contact.
  4. Report any suspected fraudulent activity to your FSG contact and internal security/compliance teams.

Your diligence helps protect both your organization and FSG from fraud.
Thank you for partnering with us to maintain a secure and trustworthy supply chain.

Customer Security

Our Commitment to Your Security

At Facility Solutions Group, your trust and security are our highest priorities. As digital fraud and scams become more sophisticated, we want to empower you with the knowledge to recognize and avoid common threats, ensuring a safe and secure experience when interacting with our products, services, and employees.

Common Fraud Schemes Targeting Our Industry

Fraudulent actors often impersonate legitimate companies to deceive customers. Be vigilant for the following common types of scams:

1. Phishing & Email Scams

The Scam: You receive an unsolicited email that appears to be from an FSG employee, often asking you to click a suspicious link, open an attachment, or provide sensitive information like passwords or financial details. The email address may look similar to ours but contain subtle misspellings (e.g., @fsg-i.com).

How to Protect Yourself:

  • Verify the Sender: Always check the full email address. Our official communications will only come from an @fsg.com or @fsgi.com address.
  • Do Not Click: Never click links or open attachments in suspicious emails.
  • Call Us: If you are unsure about an email, contact your regular FSG representative or use the official phone number listed on our website.

2. Invoice and Payment Fraud

The Scam: You receive a fraudulent invoice or a request to change our bank account or payment method for a legitimate order. These requests often pressure you to act quickly.

How to Protect Yourself:

  • Confirm Changes: Facility Solutions Group will never change bank account details or primary payment methods via an unprompted email.
  • Validate Invoices: Only pay invoices that match official purchase orders and are received through established, verified channels.
  • Contact Your Rep: Always verbally confirm any changes to banking information with your known FSG contact person using a phone number you trust (not one provided in the suspicious email).

3. Impersonation Scams (Phone and Online)

The Scam: A fraudster calls or messages you, claiming to be an FSG employee, and asks you to grant them remote access to your computer, download software, or make an immediate payment to avoid an issue.

How to Protect Yourself:

  • Be Skeptical: Facility Solutions Group will not require you to grant remote access to your device for routine support.
  • Hang Up/Ignore: If the conversation feels suspicious or threatening, hang up and call us back using our official customer support line.

FSG's Security Measures: What We Do

We employ rigorous security measures to protect our systems and customer data:

  • Secure Payment Gateways: We use industry-standard encryption for all online transactions.
  • Employee Education: Our staff is regularly trained on the latest fraud tactics and security protocols.
  • System Monitoring: We actively monitor our network for any unusual activity and unauthorized access attempts.

Report Fraudulent Activity

If you suspect you have been targeted by a scam or have received a suspicious communication claiming to be from Facility Solutions Group, please report it immediately. Your report helps protect everyone.

  • Email Us: Send the suspicious email as a screenshot to [email protected].
  • Call Us: Contact our Guide Center: 512-615-6615.

If you have already lost money to a scam, you should also report the incident to your bank or payment provider and your local law enforcement agency.
