Bill Graham founded FSG in 1982 and has served as the President and CEO ever since. His extensive experience in the lighting and electrical business paired with his deep passion for faith, family, and people has helped him lead FSG through more than 40 years of success.
Bill graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Over the years, Bill has used his experience and education to help other entrepreneurs and companies grow and thrive. Some of which would ultimately join FSG or merge their companies with FSG.
Bill is passionate about the electric trade and is focused on building FSG as an institution dedicated to timeless contributions of service and that FSG does all it can to empower others to reach their full potential.
Tom Riland is the CIO/CTO of FSG and oversees the people, processes, and technologies within the IT organization to ensure they deliver outcomes that support the goals of the business. Tom performs a key leadership role in the critical strategic, technical, and management initiatives to help others respond rapidly and flexibly to stakeholder demands and adapt and lead change in a productive and cost-effective way. Tom is responsible for oversight in areas of information technology such as development, computer systems and software, network infrastructure, security & compliance, and many IT-related administrative areas such as budget, licensing, asset management, project management, documentation, procurement, policy, and auditing. Tom started his career with FSG in 1985 as Director of Finance and Administration.
Before founding several FSG business units and serving as an officer of FSG, Bob attended Harding University, where he studied Marketing. His education furthered when he went on to study Financial Planning at the American College and Sustainability and Design at the NCQL and USGBC. During his tenure at FSG, Bob has launched FSG’s Dallas, Chicago, and National Accounts divisions and led in strategic customer development. In addition to overseeing the exponential growth of FSG for the last thirty-five years, Bob has been active in various industry associations, including PRSM/Connex and IES. Bob and his wife, Patti, have been married for forty-three years. Together, they have two children and seven grandchildren. Apart from FSG, Bob enjoys dividing his time between his hobbies, including boating, cooking, golfing, gardening, and his role in his Church’s leadership.
Bernie has over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry and has been with FSG for over 14 years, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Director of Innovation. Bernie also currently serves as the President of the NCQL, the national lighting certification agency in the U.S., and has served on the NCQLP Board for 14 years. His passion for innovation and lighting design has been applied to many high-profile lighting projects throughout the United States, most recently at the World Trade Center Oculus in New York City, where he designed and deployed an RGBW lighting system. Bernie holds an MBA from Montclair State University and a BA in Business and Communications at Rutgers University. In addition to the NCQLP LC certification, Bernie also holds the CLEP and CLMC certifications and holds Emeritus Status with the IES (Illuminating Engineering Society).
Mark has over forty years of experience in the electrical contracting industry, twenty-three of them being with FSG. Mark achieved his electrician’s license in 1979 where he then continued to pursue his Master Electrician’s license. He received a degree from Clemson University’s Project Management Academy in 1992. Mark opened his own company, MEI Electrical Inc., in 1993. He merged with FSG four years later. Mark is one of the original members of FSG’s Executive Board. Mark and his wife of forty-two years, Pam, have two children and four grandchildren. Together, Mark and Pam love to travel, one of their favorite destinations being Napa Valley. They enjoy spending most of their spare time surrounded by their family with sports on the TV in the background.
Avra served in various Leadership and Operation roles within the Banking, Retail, and Loan industries prior to starting with FSG in 2013. She’s spent five years in a leadership role and Project Management before becoming FSG’s Finance Director in 2020. Avra is passionate about aiding her team in becoming confident in their own vision and ideas. Avra finds purpose in her work and helping others. She enjoys problem-solving which comes in handy during game nights with her friends and family. When away from work, Avra cherishes her time with her husband and children.
Robin Taylor began her career as the Secretary of Store Services at the HEB Headquarters in San Antonio, TX. After a couple of years, she moved to Amtech Lighting where she spent nearly twelve years in the Service and Projects Departments. In March 2006, Robin started as a Service Coordinator with FSG in Houston, TX. Within a couple of years, she transitioned into the Training and Development department. There, she grew into a PMO Manager role and became FSG’s Director of Education in January 2020. She and her team are currently building the e-learning platform, FSG Learning, for all FSG employees. Robin is married with three grown children and several grandchildren. Outside of FSG, she enjoys spending her time with her family and working with adults with disabilities.Â
Brannon joined FSG in the summer of 2012 as a member of the training and development department. It was that department that built the first in-house video production and marketing website development team for FSG. Over the years that team has grown and Brannon took the leadership role of that group in 2018.Â
Today, Brannon is focused on the day-to-day operation of the marketing department at FSG which includes an in-house video production team, an in-house web-development team, and a fully staffed inbound lead generation team known as the Guide Center.
Brannon brings his experience in sales, business ownership, and technology development to the role and strives to make FSG more and more well known through the United States and beyond.

Jason has been in the electrical industry for over twenty-seven years, beginning his career in Houston, which provided him with the opportunity to travel to many cities across the U.S. After traveling around the country performing electrical installations, he returned to his hometown of Corpus Christi. There, Jason reconnected with a friend who introduced him to FSG where he has remained for twenty-five years, holding various positions during his tenure. Initially brought on as an Electrical Apprentice, he earned his Journeyman’s License and eventually worked as a Service Dispatcher. From there, he transitioned into Sales and Service and Project Management which led to his current position as FSG Corpus Christi’s Division Manager and serving on the Executive Board. Outside of FSG, Jason is a member of the Associated General Contractors Board of Directors. Jason holds an Associate’s Degree in Business from Del Mar College and both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.

Steve has been in the lighting and electrical business for nearly three decades and holds a Master Electrician’s license. He was co-owner of an electrical contracting company working out of the Kansas City area prior to merging with FSG in January 2005. Steve has held various roles during his tenure with FSG and attributes the broad knowledge that he has gained to delivering FSG’s success in Kansas City. Steve was elected to FSG’s Executive Board in late 2016, and now oversees operations in the Midwest. Steve studied Economics at the University of Kansas where he met his wife, Renee. They have been married for over twenty-eight years and have three children together. In his spare time, Steve is an avid Kansas Jayhawks basketball fan, enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

After serving the Air Force and attending the University of Texas in Austin, Steve helped start FSG in 1982 in San Antonio, Texas. Today, he leads the lighting and distribution business. Steve is married and has five children. In his time away from FSG, he enjoys biking, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren.
