FSG Delivers Experienced Team Effort for Sensitive Government Construction Project

Challenge

In San Antonio, Lackland Air Force Base was selected to be the location of a new U.S. government facility dedicated to cyber operations. For this sensitive, high-priority project, Butt Construction was selected as the General Contractor. For all trades involved with the project, a higher-than-usual level of security was required, and Butt Construction needed to engage the services of highly reliable and experienced contractors to complete the work. For the Lackland Cyber Ops Warfare Complex project, the GC reached out to FSG's San Antonio branch.

Solution

The project began in 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, and was finished in the spring of 2021. FSG fulfilled its essential role in the project through all of 2020's heightened health and safety protocols, complying with all additional public health-related requirements associated with COVID-19. In support of project security, FSG team members were subjected to numerous random background and drug screen checks, and throughout the project, FSG complied with all additional site access and safety requirements necessary to deliver this tightly specified and highly sensitive government project without incident.
