Executive Summary
The University of North Texas set out to create a stadium that would serve as both a home for football and a model of sustainable design. Apogee Stadium was designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification, with environmentally friendly methods and materials throughout. Partnering with Manhattan Construction, Our North Texas team delivered the complete electrical scope, including power distribution, LED lighting and controls, and two large video scoreboards. Featuring modern suites, dining areas, press levels, and full locker rooms, the facility is also powered by three iconic 120-foot wind turbines that supplement its energy grid, helping it earn national and international recognition for innovative, sustainable design.
