Executive Summary
To address drought and invasive zebra mussels, the North Texas Municipal Water District built a new water pipeline from Lake Texoma. Working closely with the district, our North Texas electrical team installed 1,500hp VFDs, emergency generators, switchgear, and new distribution lines. This infrastructure, paired with a SCADA system and fiber network, enables automated chemical treatment and reliable water delivery for the Wylie WTP—now one of the largest ozonated water treatment facilities in the U.S.

- Delivered an electrical construction package empowering North Texas to pump raw water from Lake Texoma to the Wylie Treatment Plant
- Installed four 1,500 hp VFDs, 4,160 V switchgear, three emergency generators, 25 kV distribution lines, and five new electrical buildings
- Enabled operational automation with fiber-optic network, SCADA system, and flow metering for precise chemical dosing
