Executive Summary
The North Texas Municipal Water District expanded its Wilson Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant with Phase 1 and 2 upgrades requiring robust emergency power capabilities. FSG’s Dallas team delivered the full electrical construction scope, including redundant overhead distribution systems and two 3,250 kW generators with paralleling switchgear. Critical to the project was maintaining uninterrupted power to the operating plant while installing, testing, and commissioning the new systems. Through precise planning, pad and conduit preparation, and detailed commissioning, FSG ensured seamless synchronization with Oncor’s grid. The result is a resilient emergency power system that safeguards service continuity for area residents and strengthens NTMWD’s critical infrastructure.
