Stunning Water Tower Lighting Raises Profile of Small Dallas Suburb

Challenge

City of Sachse, Texas sits snugly just northeast of Dallas and enjoys a place of pride within the larger DFW metroplex. As a way to demonstrate that pride, city administrators considered a lighting project to accentuate the city’s new municipal water tower erected in a highly visible location along a major toll road thoroughfare. With a sense that something could be done but no real plans in place, the city reached out to FSG's Dallas branch for help.

Solution

FSG met with Sachse city officials to discuss a lighting project for the new water tower. Then, FSG reached out to Gemini LSV, a local specialty lighting company with long experience in the field of custom, fit-for-purpose lighting projects. Together, FSG and Gemini LSV came up with the right solution for Sachse’s water tower.

Result

With the final design and drawings complete and approved, FSG got busy installing the three outer pads and poles, the four pads and bases closer to the tower, all underground utilities, the SGM wash lights, and the DMX control system. When the lights finally came on, everybody was thrilled.
