FSG Delivers Showcase Electrical Construction Project on Short Timeline for Collin College
Executive Summary
When Collin College chose Skanska to create a brand new 339,000 square-foot campus on 96 acres in Wylie, Texas, the General Contractor knew it needed to partner with an electrical construction company with the size and experience needed to meet an extremely tight project timeline. FSG Dallas joined the team Skanska had assembled and began work on the new Collin College campus in Wylie. With an understanding that a General Contractor’s most important selling points are “team and timeline”, FSG delivered on both counts for Skanska.
Project Highlights
- Executed electrical construction for 339,000 square-foot campus across five new buildings on extremely tight 18-month timeline
- Managed comprehensive scope including temporary power, transformers, wiring, and interior/exterior lighting with team of 110 electricians
- Delivered project completion on time despite global pandemic challenges and provided additional art installation services for Student Center focal point
