Electrical Wholesaling Magazine has published its annual article listing the Top 100 Electrical Distributors in the United States. The Top 100 list for 2026 is out and there is a lot of movement in the rankings as always.
In addition to the rankings, Electrical Wholesaling also reports on overall industry conditions, acquisitions, expansions, and notable projects from the nation’s top companies.
What Makes a Top Electrical Distributor?
The companies on this list aren’t just moving the most electrical products. They’re managing complex businesses across multiple locations, navigating price fluctuations driven by global conflicts, inflation, A.I., and other economic factors, and managing inventory and large-scale projects with tight deadlines.
The top electrical distributors in 2026 share key characteristics: wide geographic presence, deep product knowledge, strong supplier relationships, and a track record of executing projects on time. For commercial and industrial businesses, that means lower overall project costs and fewer delays.
Many of the companies on this list saw revenue increases in 2025 and those companies are also projecting growth in 2026.
FSG Ranks #47 Among the Nation’s Top Electrical Distributors
FSG moves up four spots from last year, listed at #47 in the ranking of the nation’s Top 100 Electrical Distributors. Both this year’s and last year’s rankings are improvements that show steady business growth across the country.
The company has a new CEO for the first time in 43 years. Bill Graham, who started FSG as an independent lighting distributor name American Light Bulb and Supply out of central Texas, has handed over the reins of FSG to Jason Zipprian.
“FSG overall is a $1.1-billion-dollar solutions provider as a lighting distributor, electrical contractor, smart building technology business, as well as a sign manufacturer. Jason has been with FSG over 30 years starting as an apprentice electrician, and has handled a variety of leadership positions, including COO of Construction, prior to ascending to CEO of FSG.
Jason now leads the company with his vision, supported by the COOs running the various business units, and other chief executives overseeing their verticals to support the FSG institution nationally.”

FSG operates in 30+ locations throughout the United States and is both a licensed commercial electrical contractor and a full-service electrical distributor. That combination isn’t common. Most companies on this list are distributors only.
