FSG Delivers Success for Massive New Jersey School District Lighting Upgrade Project
Executive Summary
New Brunswick Public Schools is a vibrant, diverse school district located in one of New Jersey's most historic communities - a thriving college town that's been home to Rutgers University for nearly 250 years. FSG New Jersey was awarded the contract to provide material, labor, project management, and rebate coordination for the lighting upgrades at 10 area campuses. Throughout the project, FSG crews performed their work with minimal or no disruption to the normal operations at each school.
Project Highlights
- Delivered a $2.636 million lighting upgrade across 10 school campuses totaling 1.2 million ft²
- Installed 16,721 LED fixtures, 32,890 LED lamps, and occupancy sensors for enhanced energy savings
- Completed upgrades with minimal disruption to school operations, satisfying administrators, teachers, parents, and students
