FSG Installed 14 EV Charging Stations at a BMW Dealership in Phoenix

Challenge

With the demand for electric vehicles increasing every day, automobile dealerships are installing EV charging stations to make sure their EV's can be charged for test drives. BMW North Scottsdale is a dealership in the Phoenix area that wanted 14 chargers installed and looked to FSG to provide the chargers and installation. FSG surveyed the dealership and proposed a solution to the General Manager.

Solution

FSG's experience with turnkey electric vehicle projects allowed for a smooth installation experience at the dealership. Installing brand-new EV chargers often requires adjustments to be made to a facility's current electrical infrastructure. FSG upgraded the electrical infrastructure to include new panels and equipment with new electrical runs for the charging stations. In addition, FSG stored the chargers at their own facility while waiting for the installation so they did not need to be stored at the dealership itself.

Result

FSG installed (9) Enel X JuicePedestal Dual Level 2 19 kW chargers, (3) Delta 25kW Wallbox DC fast chargers, and (2) EV Passport Level 3 Larry 60kW fast chargers meet the various demand for their electric vehicles on the lot. These chargers give the dealership the ability to charge their electric vehicles based on how quickly they need to charge. The General Manager of the dealership was very happy with FSG's ability to procure the chargers, upgrade the necessary electrical service, and install the chargers.
