When CyrusOne needed a mission critical partner they could trust with their facilities, they turned to FSG.

Challenge

CyrusOne operates secure data centers that serve some of the world's largest companies. Those customers rely on CyrusOne for safe and reliable storage, and safety and reliability begin with a strong system foundation. CyrusOne's data centers in Lewisville and Carrollton, Texas, required an upgraded technology infrastructure installation, covering cable, fiber, and panels. They turned to Facility Solutions Group's Technology team for help.

Solution

FSG Technology systems experts surveyed CyrusOne's campuses in Lewisville and Carrollton, and designed new installations to fit the locations, present hardware, and network requirements. FSG provided complete, VisiPatch-certified Systimax systems for both sites, consisting of 13,403 Cat6a cables and more than 12,300 strands of 50-micron, laser-optimized multimode fiber. Additionally, 120 server cabinets were installed, along with systems of overhead double 36 and 24" trays. The FSG Technology team built specialized wall fields to facilitate the transitioning of patch cords feeding SAN and core switches and gears."
