Del Monte Produce desired to upgrade the lighting systems in their Camden, New Jersey, warehouse. FSG was selected for this project.

Solution

This project involved the upgrade of some 265 400W metal halide fixtures in the warehouse, as well as 78 fixtures in the attached office space. In addition, 480W vaportight TSHO fixtures designed for wash-down service were also upgraded. In the offices, T12 recessed fixtures were updated with new reflectors, electronic ballasts, and T8 lamps. The project resulted in annual energy savings of more than $32,000 per year, and a total payback time of just over one year.
