Challenge

FSG Austin's technology team faced the challenge of completing a tenant finish out for a law firm on the 22nd floor of 300 Colorado in downtown Austin. The project required the installation of extensive CAT6A and OS2 Fiber cabling, full MDF build, including rack-mounted UPS and PDU's, wireless access points, and MDF patching.

Solution

To meet the project's demands, The FSG Austin Technology team meticulously executed the installation of over 60,000 feet of CAT6A and over 1,000 feet of OS2 Fiber cabling. They built a fully-equipped MDF, complete with rack-mounted UPS and PDU's, ensuring a robust infrastructure. Wireless access points were strategically placed throughout the space, and meticulous MDF patching was carried out. The team also paid special attention to the server room's fit and finish, leading to a visually appealing result.

Result

FSG Technology team successfully completed the project on time, meeting the demanding schedule, and within the budget constraints. The server room's fit and finish received praise, with the addition of FSG branding on cabinet builds, enhancing the firm's professional image. An updated As-Built drawing was displayed in the MDF, showcasing the team's commitment to delivering high-quality work.
