Challenge

The lights shine brightly on the boardwalk of Atlantic City, New Jersey, and the Trump Taj Mahal was no different. To upgrade their lighting systems to more efficient technologies, the casino turned to FSG.

Solution

This project consisted of a retrofit of more than 56,000 fixtures in over 4,000,000 square feet of space, and ran the gamut of technologies from compact fluorescent and cold cathode, to LED and metal halide. In 1,270 guest rooms, 3-way CFL lamps, LED ropelights, and CFL mini-globes were installed. In the parking garage over 3,700 175W metal halide fixtures were updated to new fluorescent garage fixtures. Cold cathode lamps were installed in many locations, including signs and chandeliers. New fixtures were installed at the pool and the arena, converting metal halide fixtures to T5 fluorescent. In ballrooms, dimming incandescent lamps were changed to dimming fluorescent downlights. Overall, this project touched all areas of the building, and included public spaces, back of house, and the casino floor.

FSG projects consistently deliver excellence for our  customers, for our employees, and for the communities we serve.

We see each project as an opportunity to embrace our mission and provide superior value through quality products, service, and support.
